Care Bags needs Donations

Care-Bags-2-UROur stock of supplies for the Care Bags is running low. We need bottled water, trial-sized shampoo, toothpaste and soap. Protein items such as peanut butter, cheese or tuna and crackers packages. Items may be dropped at the Admin. Center or the Care Bag bins located in the WC and FLC foyers. Please label your bags of donations.

Outreach with Care Bags needs some help

Outreach with Care Bags Care Bags were created this past summer by a group of people concerned about reaching out to those
in need. Care Bags are small brown paper bags that hold a protein item, peanut butter crackers, individual fruit packs, dessert (like a cookie or pudding), toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo and water. This winter we hope to include lotion, space blankets and socks. Needed for Care Bags: shampoo, soap, (hotel size), bottled water, also running low on tooth brushes, small sized toothpaste, socks and space blankets. You may drop these off at the Administration Center or at the WC Information Desk, marked “Care Bags.”

Help needed for our Clothing Closet

Needed for Clothes Closet.  If you would like to give 2 hours a week working in the clothes closet, please give Linda a call to get details, 461-1960. We are currently open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. MORE winter coats, gloves and shoes needed. The donations we have received have been wonderful! Thanks to all who have donated. Marked bins for drop offs will be at the foyers of the Worship Center and the Family Life Center for your convenience.

Family-Camp-BannerFamily Winter Camp is a great time for the entire family. There’s something for everyone: snowboarding, tubing, skiing, hanging out by the fireplaces, hot tubbing and more.
Where: The Firs Chalet on Mt. Baker
When: Feb. 7-10 (one day more this year!)
Cost (Includes 3 nights and 8 meals. All ski activities are on your own.): Adults: $139 (13+). Youth $69 (3-12). Infants and Toddlers $FREE (0-2).
Deposit: A 25% deposit is required when you register. Deposits are nonrefundable unless we find someone else to take your spot.
Payments: You can pay in part or in full. Balance is due by January 5.

Clothing Closet Help Needed!

Help is needed for the Clothing Closet at the Administration Center. This outreach ministry is fueled by volunteers and donations and is open Monday and Friday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. We reach many in the community. We need a few people to staff the Friday hours or we may have to close the doors on Friday. If you can help please call 452-3351.
