It can be easy to get lost in the crowd and to live disconnected, lonely lives. The Bible teaches about a different way of life. It teaches that we were created to connect with others and that we were designed for real relationships. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, connecting with others in community is an absolute must. We need the love, support, and encouragement of a community of people who are committed to journeying alongside us. Ultimately, we need each other because “life change happens best in community”!

Life Groups
When Jesus was asked to name the most important command in all the Bible, he named two: Love God & love others (Matthew 22:37-40). Life Groups are The Upper Room’s way of connecting people with God through Jesus Christ, and connecting others in an authentic community of faith. Groups meet in homes for fellowship and Bible study. It’s a safe place for growth, learning and friendship.
We have several on-going life groups meeting on a regular basis that you can join. Please email us at info@upperroompa.org to let us know your interested. It really is just that simple!
God 101 Class
Not sure what God is all about. Are you wanting to learn more about having a relationship with God, or growing your relationship with God deeper? Well this is what God 101 is all about.
Meets on an ongoing basis on Mondays, 7 p.m. in the Upper Room, located in the downtown Administration Building.

Community Involvement
The Upper Room desires to demonstrate the love of Christ in social and community involvement on a regular basis. As part of the Port Angeles community we desire to love and serve the city and its people to become even better, healthier and stronger members of our community and to show them the hope which can be found in Christ. We do this in a variety of ways, like in partnering with a handful of local community and social programs that are serving our community by providing financial and volunteer support. Below you will find our current list of what we refer to as our Local Outreach Partners. We will highlight a ministry each month and post specific volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Teams
At The Upper Room, we need everybody’s help in order to help everybody – including yours. Many of us come to the Upper Room with a background of skills and interests (music, drama, construction, food, technical, computers, sports, etc.) that can be used to help others. Whether you are brand new to church, or a mature believer, there are volunteer opportunities where you can serve.
